I shipped outside of ebay. Hoe do I update that items have been shipped?

Shipping update

Hey @armyguy363 thanks for taking care of your orders so quickly! In your Sold section next to each item  you'll see a drop down menu, from there you can add tracking manually. Let us know if you run into any issues, once you upload the tracking the buyer will get a message that the item is on it's way!

On your orders page you'll see Add Tracking text underneath the item. (It's not part of the Actions drop-down menu on the left.) Click on that and a pop-up will appear so you can put in your tracking number.

Why would you do that? Then, you're spreading your account all over the place. Consider shipping in-house

so costs will be deducted from payoff. It will be easier to manage your 'profit and loss' at any given moment

I say; if it's not a big difference,  unless you're buying insurance, stay on eBay. Don't creat work for yourself

You need to upload your tracking number as shown above

There are many reasons.

I use Pirateship which frequently (admittedly not always) gives me a better price than eBay because of cubic pricing which beats the tar out of eBay weight based shipping. And their international first class is way cheaper than eBay. Plus they have a price point at 1 pound where eBay & USPS automatically skips to 2 pounds.

I also get better pricing on UPS.

And even when the price is the same I can pay with a rewards card which gets me a rebate on what I spend. Pirateship automatically synches with eBay and automatically uploads the tracking number.

Pirateship allows me to access proof of tracking on every package I have ever bought all the way to my first day. eBay and USPS only holds it to 90 days. So when a claim comes in past those 90 days I can provide proof of delivery.

Pirateship will get my packages to Australia and New Zealand which USPS will not nor, it seems based on a recent post, does eBay.
