Hi, Three of the same item sold. For one it was USPS first class. For three, the shipping says “Priority mail envelope”. Three of the item will not fit in an envelope. What did I do wrong? How can I fix other listings.
Thank you

It's not what you did wrong it's the fact that the customer bought 3 of the same items and ebay's shipping can not guess the dimensions of what size box or envelope it can go in so it automatically picks the envelope. The only thing you can do is charge shipping on each additional item the customer purchases if you are charging shipping when you set up the listing. For this listing you can find the most affordable option and change it to that service when you print the label.

You didn't do anything wrong. eBay is going off the weight you entered in the listing. If one item weighed 6 oz (as an example), and someone purchased 3, that's a total of 18 oz. 18 oz is above the First Class limit so eBay is defaulting you to Priority. Flat Rate Envelope just happens to be at the top of the list which is why it's selected. You are not expected to use that service.
What you should do is pack the items and if the combined packed weight is 15.99 oz or less, enter the weight and dimensions and purchase a First Class label. If it's 1 lb or more, enter the weight and dimensions and purchase a Priority Label (likely weight-based). You might find in some rare cases that it's less expensive to send 2 separate First Class packages.
