Shipping rates are not displaying right to customers

Hello

I created a listing for an item that is 10oz

- offering calculated rates based on customer's location (First class and priority mail)

- offering customer's the discounted rates.

- I have the combined shipments based on weight activated.

NOW testing the listing shipping rates that will display to customers:

- For 1 item shipped from Los angles CA to New Jersey, the shipping options shows first class only at $2.80

- For 2 items also first class only showing at $8.29 even though the shipping weight is now passed the 15oz limit for first class

- For 3 items, First class at $8.40 and Priority mail at $25.26

- For 4 items, First class at $11.20 and Priority mail at 33.68

And so on .....

testing the same items weight on stamps.com

the rates are way lower and the first class wont appear as the limit is 15oz only after that priority is only available

 

I have googled a few times but couldn't find a fix for this issue.

CA to NJ for $2.80 means that when you set up the shipping calculator you chose "Large envelope" as the package type rather than Package/thick envelope. It's charging your buyer the USPS rate for a flat rather than for a package. If you correct that, it might affect the other pricing.

Thank you, you are right. I did change it but only the first class rate changed when adding the first item, once I added the second item to the cart and the third, the first class still shows "I think it is not supposed to even show because the package weight is now passed the 15oz limit. also the Priority mail rate are way higher than it should.

I have had a problem the last couple of weeks with ONLY Priority rates showing up as options. USPS Parcel Select Ground seems to have disappeared from ebay. Are they just trying to force us to pick another service-- reference the new deal with UPS and the banner suggesting we select another service. Kind of blatant... and really irritating. My packages have been going fine via USPS so I have no complaints.
