Shipping labels now suddenly printing vertically instead of horizontally

Started yesterday - my shipping labels are now printing vertically on the top left corner of the 8.5x11" sheet.  Before yesterday I always had the label print horizontally and was able to print 2 labels on each page.  Now it wants to only print top left vertical and the left margine is cut off too.  It's not my printer or any settings on my end.  Need some assistance ebay.

I had that happen after I used the app on a sale, and purchased  the label via QR code.

It changed the default sized and orientation of the label next time I purchased and printed one.

This topic has come up a few times lately. Sounds like your label size got altered somehow from 8x11 to 4x6. Check your label size settings next time you purchase a label. If you're not sure where to look, let me know if you're using single labels, bulk labels, or the app and I'll post screenshots for the label page you're using.

I'm using 8.5x11" in PDF form.  I tried changing it to 4x6 then back to 8.5x11 and still messed up.  It's not on my end, it's how the label is generated by the ebay system I am sure.  Thought it might be just USPS but FedEx and UPS do the same thing - very frustrating.

I had the same thing happen to me on Wednesday.   No idea why it switched.   I had printed a label just a couple of days ago.  I ended up just printing it on a plain piece of paper, cutting and taping on my box.

Does the label preview look correct?

Is your browser using Adobe to open PDF files?

What OS and browser are you using?

I didn't make any changes to my settings and it changed on its own.

Thanks for checking. I've seen probably 25 other reports in the last couple of days so I realize it's an eBay issue, just wondering if we can find a way to work around it until it's fixed.

Unless rfmtm comes up with something my suggestion is to download the PDF and alter the file on your computer - for example, pull it into photo software and crop/rotate as needed.

Another option is to buy postage elsewhere for now like pirateship.com - that will work for USPS and UPS, not for FedEx or eBay Standard Envelope.

I have a work around but it is a time waster and can't be done when printing from my iPad if I'm away from my desktop

Just to be sure, did you recheck your ebay label format is still set properly?

Is your browser set to open PDF files with Adobe?

What browser are you using?

Can you post a screen shot of the entire label preview page?

Preview page shows label in horizontal position top half of page leaving bottom half of same page available for second label.  My wife's account on same desktop with same printer is working fine - not a computer issue.  Format is set on ebay label page to 8.5x11 PDF.  Has to be an ebay issue as my wife's is good and mine is not with all the same settings

So you are saying the preview looks correct (horizontal) for both you and your wife, but it prints out vertical only for your account?

IF that's the case I still need to know the OS and browser you are using and whether the browser is set to open PDF files with Adobe.  I also can tell a lot more with a screen shot of the entire label preview page, not just the label.
