Hello,
My shipper (UPS) can't verify or "find" the address to ship a product to a buyer (buyer has zero feedback).
What is the next step? I can't find a phone number to call ebay.
20 years here and never had this happen.
Thank you!

Are you trying to purchase the label through ebay and through the order?
If so, it'll either let you buy the label, in which case you can and should ship to that address, or it'll give you an error message that there's a problem with the address.
If it's the latter, you can cancel the order as "problem with the address."
(I wouldn't go to UPS and independently buy the shipping label.)

Have you attempted to contact the buyer?

Personally I would go to UPS and buy the label so if there ARE issues you would be able to take care of any issues with shipping. If the address is bad, it should still show up on their site as bad. Just be sure to add the tracking number to the order on eBay.

Contact buyer, also google the address. if all else fails, just cancel order using problem with buyer's address

Good questions - yes I have "emailed" the buyer with no response.
For this item, I went directly to the shipper - they said the address does not exist.
Does ebay have a phone number sanymore?

Did you try purchasing and printing the label through the order through ebay?

I had no idea I could cancel an order due to a bad address. Can you point me in the correct direction to do that? Thank you for your help!

What I find really crazy is that people can't even enter their correct address on eBay PERIOD! I get at least one package back every week from USPS that say insufficient, incorrect or no such address.

The LAST thing you want to do is trust a supposed "eBay phone CSR" to give you correct advice. They'll tell you anything just to get you off the phone. If you need to contact a real eBay employee, do so on Facebook. I don't have the link here, but others may chime in with it.
Since you've had no response from the buyer, I would recommend you cancel the sale using "problem with buyer's address". That puts the ball into the buyer's court, and removes you from risk. If the buyer then contacts you, you can take it from there.
Why are you not using UPS on eBay's shipping/labeling service? Then you are covered with at least a little seller protection and possibly an automatic UPS return if it is indeed a non-existent address.
If it's the Volk Super Pupil Lens at issue and you do successfully use eBay for shipping, you may also want to ship it with signature required, just to give yourself a little extra protection and a potential return if things go south or if it turns out to be a scam.
Cheers, Duffy

Look in the Order Details for the sale and you should find a phone number for the buyer, if you want to try phoning him up.
Correcting minor details in the street address (and only the street address; e.g. adding spaces in a long rural address number, or correcting abbreviations) is okay, as long as you are not changing the City or ZIP Code, as your seller protection requires the tracking to show a Delivered status to the City and ZIP of the address received with the payment. The exact street address is not taken into consideration.
As noted already, trying to talk to an eBay Customer Service rep on the phone is not recommended.
