Hi everyone.
I am here with a shipping problem that has been happening a lot lately.
I create a listing. A shirt weighs 15 oz. I am using first class.
When I go to set the shipping the default is set to 1-2LB. I change it to custom. Size is 15"x12"x4" In the Lb box I put zero or I leave it blank, tried it both ways. Ounces 15.
I hit list and over and over it reverts back to 1-2LB.
Does anyone know why this is happening? It doesn't happen all the time, but it's been happening a lot.
I change it over and over but it will not accept the new weight and it doesn't give me an error message.
I appreciate any insights anyone might have.

My listing form has a drop-down menu and I can choose (First Class) '1 lb. or less'... do you not have that? 🤔

I am putting custom and setting to 15 ounces, but it sometimes reverts back to 1-2. Why do I need to set it to less than 1 LB if I am choosing custom? and then putting 15 ounces?
I don't want less then 1 LB because maybe it's 6 OZ which is cheaper than less then 1 LB.
The point is it works 80-90% of the time. It's just that sometimes it doesn't.
I am trying to figure out why it works most of the time and other times it doesn't, even after trying 3-4-5 times?
Make sense?

OK so you are familiar with this? Well I will give that a try. 13 and 15 are probably the same price?

This worked! Thank you.

Yes, currently the prices for First Class packages are the same in 4-ounce increments, so any weight 12+ to 15.999 ounces is the same price.

Same thing is happening to me with every listing I make. I can't list anything because the shipping resets when I hit the list button. ENTIRELY FRUSTRATING!!!!
I've tried the "solution" here, still doesn't work.

You may want to read the info in the link below about USPS first class weight limits and package sizes.
https://about.usps.com/postal-bulletin/2007/html/pb22218/kit1_010.html
If you tried resetting the weight and it did not work, you may want to consider using smaller boxes, to avoid USPS DIM shipping rates, based on package size not weight.
