Shipping Item Without Packing Material

I have a buy that has told me to ship his items in a box with no packaging If I want to save on the cost of shipping as he "does not care if the items are damaged" and is "Just using them for parts"

Will I be held liable if ( They will get damaged)  they are recived damaged and the user complains even after telling me that he does not care and to go ahead and ship them anyways?

They are 2 Hydrogen generaters weighting about 40 LBS each.

Yes. A buyer can open a SNAD claim in eBay if the item(s) are not received in the condition as shown. Heck, they can lie even if they received as shown and open a SNAD. Unless you're shipping freight or two packages, I think you going to have a problem shipping those.

A pound of bubble wrap is a huge amount...it'll add maybe $3 per package for shipping. And no way would I pack together.
