Shipping Fee Payment Method

When I look at my bank account statement and the “activity” on my PayPal account, it looks like both accounts are being charged for my shipping fees.  Is that possible?  Or am I mis-understanding something?

On my Ebay seller account, I cannot find any place where I can change the shipping fee payment method, or find out what account(s) my shipping fees are being paid from.  Can anyone tell me where to look?

Thank you.

If your PayPal is funded from your bank account, then you would see a PayPal debit, then a debit to your bank account for the PayPal debit.  So, it's only one charge going through PayPal paid by your bank account.

If you are looking for how to change how shipping labels are billed when you buy labels on eBay.

When you go to buy shipping labels it's at the bottom of the page.

You're paying for shipping labels using PayPal to process the payments. Your bank is the default payment method on PayPal. So you see the transactions on PayPal and if you expand the details you will see the funds were pulled from your bank.

Then because the funds were pulled from your bank, you'll see the transaction on your bank.

You are not being double-charged. That's how it displays when you pay for something with PayPal and the actual funding comes from another source (bank or CC) instead of your PayPal balance.

Thank you for your reply.

Is there a way to change the payment method so that the shipping fees come from my PayPal balance and not from my bank account?

I’m glad to hear that I’m not paying double.

No. Your Paypal balance needs to be depleted to zero before it starts using your checking account or credit card.

?  question says fees ARE coming from bank account, not paypal balance.........

I've had a balance in Paypal for years.......but Paypal gives the choice of how to pay......cc/bank/points from a cc/paypal balance.
