Someone else posted about this today and I am not able to reply to THAT post. The change to the calculator makes it LESS helpful and kind of scarier. Not cool to not let us reply to that first thread.

Yep! Some are getting it and some not. I used to be able to drill down by clicking on calculate shipping. (this is in the box that comes up while creating a listing and choosing a primary service). It used to give you the old time shipping calculator and I would use that to record the rates for my item in my log for a reference point. That is not necessary but it helps me. But, thats gone! What it goes to now is a table of numbers for the services that differ from that first box and it doesent make much sense what it refers to. Discount? No heading and the west cost (using my zip in NJ) numbers are eccentric. Anyway its Foxtrot'ed. Gotta go Bye

At today's Seller Check-In, eBay said this new version of the shipping calculator will be updated with additional features.
Hopefully that means they will bring back some of the key features we lost.

GREAT!!!
WHY NOT JUST LEAVE IT THE $*$*(%)@ ALONE!?!?
I'm in agreement with what everyone else has said here!
Grrrrrrrrrrr

Called twice today and asked if any options without doing more work. No matter how I explained it the ebay team member just repeated the same thing. Calculated shipping, the buyer will pay for shipping and put in zip code of buyer. They ignored that it had changed. After 23 yrs I may look into Etsy.
Haven't listened to podcasts for awhile . Wonder if they covered the change.
I totally agree with wastingtime101 comments

What is with eBay's incessant obsession with screwing with things that don't need to be screwed with? There's plenty of stuff that needs to be fixed but they do this!? This just popped up for me today, at 4pm it was the old calculator and at 7pm, it's the new one. I want to see what the sample rates are, it usually shows Los Angeles, Chicago and New York. This is useful to me because it helps me determine which service to use to provide the best rates, depending on where it's going, or if I should offer a flat rate. It also repeatedly flipped the information I input from 3lbs 9 oz to 3oz and also changed the dimensions so had I not caught it, it would've cost me money by not charging enough for the shipping. There's zero benefit from this change...WHAT IS WRONG WITH THESE PEOPLE?
I might just start buying all my labels via Pirate Ship and bypass eBay's service. I've done it before when I had noticed Pirate Ship offering superior rates.

eBay sucks, I'm REALLY tired of their stupid nonsense! I mean really, really tired of it...

Why on earth would the geniuses on ebay think the shipping calculator needed improvement??? What can possibly be going through their brains when they often take some of the best aspects of ebay and "improve" them by practically destroying them. Inquiring minds would like to know. Hey ebay if you want to improve something how about banning deadbeat buyers a heck of a lot sooner than you're doing now. And do something about serial bid retractors for once.

Its possible the IT people or programmers have NO real world experience with sales. They are graduates, where 80% of the classwork was talking about how evil capitalism is.
They don't have a clue what information a capitalist pig is gonna want when shipping their ill gotten products to the serf victims.

OMG! Whiskey Tango Foxtrot!! The calculator appears to be entirely useless now.
I put in weight and dimensions, from and to zip codes, and all I get is a table of USPS Priority rates:
Where is USPS Ground Advantage?
And when I try to see FEDEX or UPS I get this message:
Change the size and weight to what?!?!
So now I have no idea what the shipping cost will be until I actually post the listing.
It wasn't broke, they tried to "improve" it, now it's broke!
Please bring back the old calculator!

Been selling since 1999 and I'm not a fan of the new format
Please bring back the previous shipping calculator format - this one subliminally pushes the user to ship internationally which I will NOT do. It is not as user friendly and, frankly, scarier.
It does not provide a comparison of "regular" "over the counter" rates to the eBay rates. Now I'm opening two sites to calculate the best way to post and ship - the USPS site AND the eBay shipping calculator.
eBay listened and allows seller to opt out of the the "new All Selling view" - I hope they listen and allow us to opt out of the "new shipping calculator view"
Very sad to see eBay IT folks making these kind of unnecessary and offputting "improvements"

I definitely don't like it at all, for some of us (me) I have additions, such as special boxes, bubble, extra insurance, ebay is making changes that affect us and our bottom line and shipping can close our business.

Ran into the same problem, I guess someone doesn't like people expressing themselves regarding changes without notice,
