Selling privilege indefinitely restricted for providing alternative tracking numbers

My account was dinged before for not having 90% of verified on-time tracking because some of my items are shipped directly from Amazon. Amazon can use their own Logistics and that tracking is not recognized by eBay. I sold a few items and provided the buyers with alternative tracking numbers that are actually shipped to me but with the same day of delivery and retroactively added those tracking numbers to purchases that have already been rated recently. The next day, eBay suspended my account and asked for proof of delivery. I provided screenshots and explained the situation. Upon appealing, I received the following message:

We are committed to reducing both fraud and negative buying experiences on eBay. To maintain a safe marketplace, we sometimes restrict selling activity, end active items, or suspend accounts until an additional review can be completed. We have completed an additional review of your account and show that your account was originally restricted because it was in violation of eBay policy and your behavior posed a risk to the eBay community.

**bleep** eBay? How would I meet the on time tracking requirement if the items shipped don't have eBay-compatible tracking?

Because of this, we have decided that your account will remain indefinitely restricted from selling. We have taken this action out of concern for the safety and integrity of the eBay Community. Due to eBay policy, we cannot provide you with more specific information.

We understand that this situation may be frustrating; however, although future emails from you will be read, we will be unable to respond to any further requests to reinstate your selling privileges.

Same old story from you..obviously you were permanently restricted for listing Amazon items on Ebay, then drop shipping them from Amazon after they sold here..its not allowed. You certainly have some unhappy customers.

I'm trying to wrap my head around what your plan was there. You're basically giving the buyer a tracking number that's actually (1) not his package, and (2) not going to his address. You're using the term "alternative tracking" in the manner of "alternative facts" there. Smiley Frustrated I can see why eBay would have a problem with that.

How did this start? Did the buyer(s) file Item Not Received dispute(s)?

Oops, it sounds like you provided proof that you were violating eBay's policy that prohibits drop-shipping items that you purchase on Amazon.

If you are a seller who is using fulfillment by Amazon, that's a different story but I don't know how you'd satisfy eBay about that; it sounds like they're not willing to discuss this any further with you.

Like other have said if you are arbitrage dropshipping using your Amazon prime account you are in violation of ebay's policy. It is not allowed and ebay has been making more of an effort to crack down on sellers doing it. I'm also pretty sure Amazon doesn't want you doing it either.  If that is not what you are doing and you have your product shipped directly from Amazon's warehouse then I would call ebay and try to work something out.

You're dropshipping from the river, giving fake tracking numbers, they suspend your account and your upset with Ebay?

Have a great day.
