TO ALL SELLERS!!! Please stop sending bulk packages via USPS during covid! Packages that normally take a few days are now taking 30 days or more! You can easily solve most of these issues using Fedex Or UPS.

Yes, Fed Ex has rejected a lot especially from big retailer. Good Business plan.

And that’s why USPS is going bankrupt.

Sadly we won't be able to do that little "upgrade" soon as ebay in their infinite wisdom has decided they're going to remove Parcel Select from our shipping/listing options.
Seems they've never heard of "under promise and over deliver"

No, it isn't, it actually makes enough selling their products and services to cover all expenses - it's the stupid prefunding from the Bush administration that they struggle with. No other entity, public or private, is saddled with these ridiculous restrictions. Maybe now the senate will get off its collective bee-hind and pass DeFazio's Postal Fairness bill to rid the USPS of this ridiculous prefunding.

Fedex OVERCHARGES, not talking about their rate they offer you. I mean they literally overcharge by inflating the weight on packages. You ship an item weighing 2 lbs and your billed for 4-5 lbs

LOL yeah, right. And who are you?
My USPS mail carrier stops at my home and picks up every day between 11am and noon. Never fails to scan every package. In Dec. I used Fedex once, had to drive 4 miles to drop off location and guess what? Fedex decided that they weren't picking up there for a couple days because overloaded. To add insult to injury even though I had exact measurements and ROUNDED UP the weight, they charged MORE 3 weeks later. Screw them.
UPS has their place, recently shipped a TV and a guitar amplifier, a couple heavy oversize pkgs, they had the best price by far (Ground) and in the case of the amp was delivered (from NH to Brooklyn NY) in less than 48 hours - I dropped it off Wed afternoon and was delivered on that Friday morning. BUT those are exceptions, 95% of my stuff goes, and will go, USPS.

consider your self very lucky. I closed my store because so many of my items have been lost for as long as six weeks.

Shocking to hear so many sellers NOT having shipping problems... I have had to close my store due to lost packages for several weeks.... Maybe it is just my area .

Fedex horror stories around Baltimore are just as bad or worse with packages left anywhere and everywhere and even thrown around.

Am not selling this year, but here's my recent experience: A fairly local (about 10 miles) processing center has been closed for awhile, so anything we mail here, even if to an address in THE SAME TOWN, is sent to a processing center about 40 miles north and then back again. I have five grandchildren who live in my same zip code and their Christmas cards (containing checks) were delivered, variously, in anywhere from 5 days to 9 days.
How's that for efficiency?

Just going by what my mail lady says, shows up on pallets and the USPS staff have to unload and sort, she has to make 2 trips now and more then half is from amazon, rural route so she doe's not get paid for the extra packages. They can't leave PO until they arrive, just last Tuesday she didn't even show up until 6:30 pm and had another hour to go. I'm lucky because they came and picked up my packages earlier in the day.
