Seller closed a return and won’t refund

Hello eBay community, so about a month and a half ago I ordered roblox accounts. After the order, I had changed my mind and requested a return. The seller said yes, and said I would have to wait a month for a refund. The month ends, and I request for my refund. The seller doesn’t respond and closes the return and doesn’t refund. eBay won’t help, please leave suggestions on what to do.

How did you pay the seller? If you paid via PayPal then you can open a return through them. If you paid through eBay then you only get one opportunity to open a return case so you will be out of luck through eBay. I suggest you spend some time reading the policies here for how to conduct a return and the reasons why you can do a return or you will never receive a refund. Best of luck to you....

I payed via VISA Gift Card. They are refundable, though. Thanks!

if I were you I would vet my sellers better, the seller you bought from has atrocious feedback and shoud have been avoided like the covid. its hard to say when the seller went bad but the warning signs were all there that the seller is a louse.

 

buying on ebay is simple but you want to buy from a winner....do not pick a loser to buy from

Well, by having you wait a month the seller very cleverly voided your MBG on eBay. Although I doubt they would have covered you anyway, since it was a digital item.  If you paid with PayPal you can try filing a dispute there, I heard they do cover some digital items. If that doesn't work, your last option is to fall back on your payment source, hopefully it was a credit card. You can do a charge back with them if you used one.

As mentioned on  your other thread, I don't believe the buying and selling of accounts is permitted on eBay.  Why did you not merely open an account with the company yourself?

@7606dennispeople buy accounts because they don't want to put in the effort to get a good account with good stats/items ect

You don't qualify for the MBG because of what you bought.

It's only good for 30 days, so you're not covered by the MBG.

PayPal don't cover 'changed mind' unfortunately. Only item not received or significantly not as described. Go chargeback your credit card.

However, most online services that I know of prohibit the selling or transferring of accounts in their User Agreements.  Thus anyone trying to sell one is trying to sell something that they do not own.  Therefore, someone trying to buy one would, in effect, be trying to buy stolen property.
