Seller asking me to change my feedback

Not sure if this is in the right section, but I'm just looking for some opinions/correct information.

I recently bought a tapestry from an Indian seller and when I received it I realized it was much smaller than the dimensions in the listing, smelled absolutely horrible, and the color and pictures didn't match.

I opened an "item not as described" case and the seller tried to offer me a partial refund which I refused and then gave me a full refund and ebay said not to return the item.

I left a negative feedback because I feel people should know that the seller sells items that aren't as desrbibed (the seller has a few other ~5-20 similar negative reviews out of about 1000 total reviews for the past year)

The seller has messaged me requesting that because they refunded me I should remove my review.

I told them no, that I didn't receive the item as described and that they shouldn't sell bad products that clearly don't match the description or pictures.

They messaged me again saying that I'm complaining and that they have tons of positive feedback and happy customers.

I feel I'm being pressured to change/remove my review. Is this against Ebay policy for them to ask me to remove my rating. I try to work with sellers and I've sold a few things myself, I understand 5 star ratings are important to sellers but I feel this seller is being deceptive and rude in his listing and messages. What should I do?

Stop opening the messages and ignore the seller.

Re: Seller asking me to change my feedback

Do I have to worry about them leaving me negative feedback as a buyer? I don't see a feedback for this seller in my profile and I'm not sure if that's because they haven't left feedback or if it's because I've received a refund.

Re: Seller asking me to change my feedback

Buyers can only receive positive feedback. However some sellers will leave a negative comment in the text box. This is against eBay policy. Just contact eBay Customer Service and have them remove the feedback if you seller does this.
