Buyer says she received item damaged

buyer said she recieved item damaged and took it apart found the damaged part and emailed me to buy th part from the manufacture send it to her and she will install it herself or refund. What do I do she has taken apart the item.

How in the heck are "shipping fees" MORE than what it cost to ship? Buyers paid me $42, I owe $45

Like the title says, I sold 3 items. Buyers paid me $42.92 for me to ship to them. Ebay has now sent me an invoice that includes $45.55 in shipping fees. Is this normal? If so, my 17 year-old account will be closed.
