Did you mean:

SNAD scam

To Ebay

Totally disagree,

We have provided top quality litho prints and canvases to our clients for over 30 years. This is not a cheap poster print. Therefore we have changed our mind and will not be offering you any returns, refunds much less paying you the shipping cost to send it back.. as we have stated in our listing it is an exact perfect description of the product and feel we are being scamed by this SNAD to try to just get something for nothing. We will not stand for this deception.

Hello.
Per your request, I submitted a return request through eBay. I continue to believe you should provide me a prepaid label to ship this back to tony because your description doesn’t adequately match the product actually sold. Please advise.
Thanks,
Jackie

Re: SNAD scam

This is a public member-to-member discussion board, not a way to contact either of those entities.

Unfortunately, you can't really deny paying a not as described complaint.  If you refuse, the company will do it for you and your account will suffer the consequences.

OK kids, time to get the Dodge loaded up again. I hear 'Poppy's By the Tree' calling. This trip might be a long one too.

Re: SNAD scam

Dear seller,

I know you don't want to read what I'm about to write, but consider this advice from an experienced seller.

You need to respond to the return request with either (a) providing the buyer with a return label, waiting for the item to return, and then refunding the buyer;  or (b) telling the buyer to keep the item and refund the buyer.  There is really no way, according to eBay Money Back Guarantee policies, for you to avoid refunding the money given what the buyer has written you.

If you do not respond to the return request, eBay will automatically generate a return shipping label.

If you contest the buyer's SNAD claim with eBay (file a dispute), then there is a very, very high probability that you will receive the following punishments in addition to being forced to refund:

  1. eBay will give you a defect.
  2. You will not receive credit for eBay fees.
  3. The buyer will have no incentive to return your item.

Listen, we've all been where you are today, and we all understand the frustration that can happen when we feel that a buyer is deceptive in the the returns process and circumventing return policies ... however, it is my recommendation that you go ahead and act upon the return request by requesting shipping back (at your expense) ... there is a chance that the buyer will be lazy and forget to return the item in the 6-7 days that they have to return it, and in this case you can call eBay and ask them to close the return in your favor.

When the return is completed, you can then go back into your returns and report that you disagree with the buyer's reason for return (i.e., you feel this is a remorse return, and the MBG was inappropriately activitated in order to circumvent return policies/return shipping).  If this is a pattern with this buyer, then there is a chance eBay will take action against the buyer.

Re: SNAD scam

Thanks for the advice. We will not be selling anything on Ebay ever again! We have removed all of our listings because of this.
