I have marked on my shipping preferences that I do not ship to Alaska and Hawaii.
Why does EBay allow transactions from those 2 states to go through when they clearly state that if you have these checked off on your list of places not to ship that these buyers will be unable to purchase your items.
I have had a couple if people email me and ask me to do it and I complied but normally it's not feasible so that is why I choose to opt out of it.
Just wondering if this is another glitch?

While the buyers' home address may be in Alaska or Hawaii, they may want to have the items shipped to someplace within the contiguous 48 states.
Just curious: You appear to be using Calculated Shipping on the listings of yours that I picked at random, so if the buyer is paying anyway, why do you want to exclude Alaska or Hawaii?

If you are shipping USPS, there is no valid reason to try and not ship to those 2 locations, as well as Puerto Rico, Virgin Islands etc. so that 'want' is ignored.
Use 'calculated' shipping if you need to so the extra 'zone' will reflect what a person pays.

I checked several of your current listings and none of them have Alaska or Hawaii excluded
