Returns

I don't get this. I sold an item and listed it with no returns accepted. To me, that's very clear. No returns is no returns, period. Apparently not. The buyer opened a dispute saying the item didn't fit. To me, that's the chance you take. I ok'd the return knowing that eBay would most likely rule in her favor and because I wanted to enforce their no return policy, I would get a black mark. This is a no win situation for the seller and an always win for the buyer. EBay is putting the buyer above all else. They should stop to realize that without sellers---- there is no eBay. You get enough sellers mad, and they will leave. I said no returns because I didn't want the hassle that I now have. After the items I have listed expire or sell, I'm through with eBay.

You didn't have to refund since this was a 'remorse' return and you have a no returns policy.

If the buyer had opened a SNAD claim, then that over-rides a no return policy and you would then be required to refund, and supply a pre-paid return label.

Nothing tastes as good as being thin feels.

If the reason was "didn't fit" then you could have declined the return. Buyers can still ASK to return despite Your return policy.

Didn't fit is a key word in eBay and a easy win with an open dispute for ALL sellers. All you had to do is deny the return as its a "buyers remorse" return request. Now, if they lied and opened a SNAD case, that's a horse of a different color. But as long as you had something in writing from the buyer as to "fit" (the keyword), you should have been able to call eBay and get the case closed in your favor even with a SNAD EZPZ. BTW, the time to get advice is before you refund, not after. Once you refund you're done. Now you know for next time. Also, a No Returns policy is you best protection against fraudulent SNAD claims, so you're doing good there.
