I lately have had 2 very strange return request and was hoping the community could give me some clarity.
Return request #1 is a for a motherboard priced at $30. Buyer purchases the item. The day after I ship it ebay sends me a message saying the buyer is no longer a user, dont refund without contacting them. It is a automated message. Well about a week after that the buyer then opens a return request!! I go to the return and of course you can no longer view the item or details as when they naru the buyer they yank the listing to where you can never see it again. I was able to click on the buyer user name as he started sending me messages and the buyer is not NARU. This makes no sense as the message from ebay is clear. Now buyer is returning and I cant even click on my listing. to compare photos of the motherboard!
Return #2 buyer buys $150 game system on the day of joining ebay. Fast forward 29 days later and I receive a message from the buyer claimg the widget is not as described. Certainly plausible but highly unlikely! After that I received a return request from them. This is free returns so automatically accepted. The next day I received a message from another seller contacting me through ebay saying the buyer is a thief and is returning empty packages. Then a few hours later I receive the message from ebay stating the buyer is NARU and sends me a message saying the buyer is no longer a user, dont refund without contacting them. Same as before. Well now a few days I receive a message stating the buyer has sent the widget back!
So all in all in return request #1 ebay sends me a message stating the buyer is NARU(not true as they send me messages after that) and is sending it back! Return request #2 buyer opens return(obvisouly opened a lot of them as I were their first purchase and they racked up 22 feedback before NARU) and now after being NARU is sending what I presume to be a empty box back. Isn't ebay fun!

If they are NARU they won't need to be refunded.

Return request #1 is not NARU contrary to what the ebay message said. Return #2 with the same message is NARU. Both listing no longer are viewable in any format.

If you can't access them you can't refund for them.
Forget about them unless you get another message from ebay and then come straight back here.
