Received package back which was marked by PO "No Such Number - Unable to Forward - Return to Sender".. Now customer is looking for the package. She acknowledges that she entered the wrong address into the system -- she has zero feedback - new buyer... I responded with "Return received - I will be checking with eBay on how to effectively handle - you need to correct your address in the system"
This is a first for me in nearly 20 years but sure it happens frequently out there.
How do I proceed to protect me financially on this transaction and get new tracking number into system?? I believe I can absorb the reshipping charge (she bought multiples and did not request adjusted invoice before paying). If I am charged for the return shipping cost then it is different.

If package is being returned to you as non deliverable then you shouldn't receive any charges for that. It's happened to me and I never was charged. You did your part as the seller, the buyer was at fault for not having correct mailing address. You can do the right thing by two different options.
1- Offering buyer a refund minus your shipping and fees
2- Offering to ship again but have buyer pay for new shipping by sending an invoice via PayPal
It's up to you how you want to proceed but those are two options for you. Best of luck to you....

You should be able to cancel the order and select something is wrong with the buyers address. I think there is a button to move if you want to refund shipping or not. You'll get your fees back and it should relist so she can buy with the correct address. The PO does not charge to return the package but you or the buyer are out that original shipping.
