I sell jewelry with a 14 day return policy and when a customer wants to return an item, ebay allows them a full 30 days to return it? How do I get ebay to change this?

The way I understand it is the ebay money back guarantee is for 30 days and covers not as described returns. All our items have this coverage. Your 14 day return policy is for a remorse return, so I assume after 14 days you could deny that type of return.

as fern*wood posted................ 14 day for "remorse". I have had remorse requests after the 14 days and was presented with the option to "deny" if I so desired.

Not as described items get 30 day returns...no matter what you post.
Be careful with open claims and read them carefully...buyers can open a claim for 60-90+ days and eBay allows this...you the seller can say no.
So just because it's an open claim for a refund...read the claim carefully to see if you have to actually have to do a refund

You can't. eBay has the 30 day money back guarantee for INAD that over rides your 14 day return policy for remorse returns.
