Return Policy changing today??

Greetings,

Has anyone else notice a change to return policies.

I was just checking and updating some of my listing and it showed my listed had just been changed Aug 3rd 15:31 PT, but I had not made any changes yet when I looked into the changes here is what was shown

Item Specifics: - Return Policy
Changed Return policy details from Buyer must pay shipping on all returns. Restock Fee only app to --
Changed Restocking Fee from 10% to --

Anyone heard about this change or know what Ebay is doing and why they are changing the policy without notifying us first.

Re: Return Policy changing today??

Restocking fees are no longer permitted.  The new policy was announced as part of the Spring Seller Update which was released on February 27.

Re: Return Policy changing today??

Yes these are recent changes of about a month ago per the Spring Seller Update.

Also please note is it NOT Buyer pays shipping on ALL returns.  Ebay has never had any return policy like that nor do they now.

While you can have a 30 or 60 day return policy with buyer pays shipping.  What that means is if the buyer files a Buyer Remorse Return, then the buyer pays return shipping.  It is ONLY for Buyer remorse returns.  If you get a SNAD, sellers are always responsible for paying the return shipping.

You may want to visit the Spring Seller Update and the Summer Seller Update as they both have some pretty important stuff you should be aware of.
