I have to face this strange situation.
I sold an item to a buyer which is severely delayed (due to limited flights these days) more than one month (Greece to UK). The buyer was patient for three weeks and then decided to ask for a refund and he said that he will return the item when if arrived. I told him that the delay is normal for this period (as I also wait for shipments from Europe for more than one month) but he insisted for a refund.
For some ebay technical reason I couldn't make the redund through ebay but I use paypal's procedure. He received the money and then he asked ebay to close the case. Until this point everything seems OK.
Then yesterday he received the item (as I expected...) and now asks me to issue a label (and pay the cost) for shipment. But, ebay case is closed and I can't do this (even I wanted to). He also said to call ebay to find a solution.
Before I start fight I would like to ask if he is right; shall I pay for the return shipping ?

Since this was an International sale you wouldn't be able to issue a return shipping label through ebay. You should pay for the return shipping if you want your item back.
