This has been a problem for about a week now. I have updated my ship from and return address several times in my account addresses. I have tried to correct, still the same thing, USPS address shows as my return address. I ended up just putting a return label over the usps address, but that is not a solution. Is there a way to go back to the old classic labels, I never had this problem with that program. I have had an ongoing issue with the current program holding the right information in the past, but was usually able to correct it, but not this time. A solution PLEASE!

Another person posted earlier in the week that the eBay system was using an address from years ago. It is possible that the eBay systems are accessing an old database ... just have to wait until it gets fixed.

I have been emailing back and forth today with customer service. Someone has dropped the ball. Here is their response: "We understand that it is important for you to have your correct return shipping address on file.
However about the shipping label, it will only show your ship from address and not the return shipping address. In any case that the item needs to be returned back to you, that's the time that your return shipping address will show." This is WRONG! If every eBay seller who ships from a different post office than their home address has the shipping post office address as the return address, there is going to be LOTS and LOTS of packages returned to sender for various reasons (undeliverable as addressed, moved left no address, no such address, forwarding order expired, unknown, ETC…..). All of these items returned to sender are going to end up back at the post office of mailing and then will be sent on to the Dead parcel branch. No one will ever get it back. The return address on the mailing label MUST be the address of the seller as it as always been. PLEASE eBay fix this.

I continue to have this same problem. I ship from a different post office than my home address. I have had issues in the past since new label program has been put into use, but I had usually been able to correct until now. For 2 weeks if will not correct and I can not get help. EBAY, with everything going on in the world today, we shouldn't have to be stressed because your label program is not working properly. EBAY PLEASE FIX THE LABEL PROGRAM!

In the meantime, have you tried printing your labels on Paypal?

I looked into that because I have shipped from paypal in the past. Problem is PayPal evidently has a new contract with the USPS, our only priority options are flat rate priority shipping, they no longer offer DIM weight postal shipping for priority. You have to use a flat rate box or envelope and that just doesn't work for collectibles.

Labels are still printing with USPS and address of mailing post office as my return address. It's going on 3 weeks now that I have been trying to get help, STILL NO HELP! EBAY, How about step by step instructions oN generating mailing labels when you ship from a different post office than your home zip code. Up until a couple weeks ago, I could edit and correct but NOT any more. So sad because the classic label program had 1 check for mailing from a different zip code, and when you checked it , then all you had to do was enter the zip code of the mailing post office. HOW SIMPLE WAS THAT!!!!!
I GIVE UP EBAY, I WILL JUST CONTINUE TO PLACE A PERSONAL RETURN LABEL OVER THE POST OFFICE RETUTN ADDRESS.

You might try using Pirate Ship for your USPS shipping labels. You will be able to set up your account with the information that you want for the return address. The accounts are free and will import/export the information to your Ebay account. Also, Pirate Ship uses cubic pricing, so any package .5 cubic feet or less will cost you less to ship than Ebay labels. They only do USPS labels, so you will need to find another way to do any FedEx labels. Hope this helps.

Set up an account with stamps.com. If you contact their customer service they can set you up with the free plan available to eBay sellers. It’s really easy to set up different return addresses with different ship from zip codes and save them to your account. You pick the one you want from a drop down selection when you create labels and you can save your most used option as the default.
