I sold an item on 12-17-17 showing no returns in my listing as I sell vintage watchmaker estates where parts can easily be stolen and returned "not as described." The item shipped in two packages due to weight and size was signed for 12-21-17. A return request was sent to me three weeks later 1-12-18 because the item was described as "damaged in shipment." I spoke with E-Bay mentioning that when signed for no damage was noted on the reciept. The set of watchmaker collets sit in sturdy oak box that was packed in a heavy duty bag, surrounded by packing peanuts, marked this side up on all sides. E-Bay found in my favor... now I am told thebuyer appealed and has been refunded. I have called to appeal and I have been on hold for 3 HOURS! Is there any way around holding for the rest of my day? I spent half a day on the first claim? I am trying to earn a living and I am the sole caretaker of my 86 year old Mom with Alzheimers? Any advise? Help?
