How can I remove my phone number from my shipping labels????? Please no smart a$$ answers - cross off with sharpie, put FedEx or ebay #, or all 0000s (won't work). I called customer service and they couldn't figure it out - they said to call back when I print my next label. There must be SOMEBODY ANYBODY who ships ebay who has an answer! Google searches and ebay forums are have not provided a fix! When editing shipping address, they DO NOT ALLOW THIS FIELD TO BE LEFT BLANK OR ALL ZEROS. Is there ANYBODY who can fix this as of JAN 2022?
Please help !

I understand your frustration but to open with "Please no smart a$$ answers" comes off as rude. Those who respond are here to help, want to help and to get snarky doesn't make you look good.
Apparently, you got your answer and that's that Fedex requires it and that's why you can't get rid of it.

Just get a paper punch and punch it out.

when u r on the shipping label page, did u click on the 'edit' button under your address and remove the ph#?
BTW- I use USPS, FedEx and UPS and I ship internationally regularly and my phone number has never shown up on my return address on the labels.

At this point I am only shipping to the US. In addition to the phone number next to my name, it says US under the city state which seems dumb if the pkg is not leaving the US. Ebay told me all manner of strange things, like the system is requiring your phone number, its there for the customer to contact you if there is an issue, and a lot of stuff I think they just made up. I am really frustrated.
There is your answer. FedEx REQUIRES a phone number so that if there is a problem they can call to resolve it. Now in fairness, in all these years they have only called me once. But they did call, and it was a problem I was able to solve while they were on the phone. Thereby avoiding a non-deliverable return.

The sorters, working as fast as they can, are trained to look for the country name. If there is no country name it causes a double take. So it is there to speed up the sorting.
