Random Tiny Things from CS@OrangeConnex.com

I don't know quite what to do.  I've gotten a second package from CS@OrangeConnex.com unsolicited.  Inside are tiny tiny what are probably cell phone parts.  The total price of the package can't be more then USD$3 as there's nothing electronic.  This time I was able to identify what they were: they are tiny sim insert holders.  There's no shipping invoice, no activity on my account or credit card.  I'm afraid to contact OrangeConnex because it might be some kind of scam.  I feel horrible that they might be sending these tiny things to me and someone isn't getting the parts.

I think it has to do with ebay because the only english thing on google result for them lead to a eBay community post on what a horrible shipping company they are (LoL!).   Can I just return to sender if I get another one?

I do order tiny parts so I can't just send back any little package I get without opening it.  Can I tape it up and put return to sender?

Has this happened to you? How did you resolve it!?

I also just got a duplicate of what I ordered MONTHS ago & I thought it was a PC part from a repair place or physical store that I ordered from same city before. Took me a while to notice & make sure the cities were different & the email wasn't the other places email. Ugh. Why did they... nice I guess but I don't need another. I'm not sure If I can even use the thing I ordered before. lol. I almost freaked out thinking some repair place or someone in general sent me a part of a machine. What are we/you supposed to think/feel when that happens. Sheesh. CS must have some really bad reading or emails being duplicated or false order quantity numbers.... IDK. Just weird, kinda concerning. I hope they don't also charge all of us also for their error.

I also looked up the "tracking#" on UPS site (since that's what the printed label showed what service was shipped by) & what I saw after was that it was "shipped" from San Jose CA" 2wks ago, NOT the city that was on the label (like some others got on theirs) : Inglewood, CA.

The last similar item I ordered from a different seller (of course) on eBay (not any other site) was about 3 weeks ago, & from a very different seller. BUT the name of this unfortunately sounds familiar. Maybe last year or 2020 I might have got a duplicate-like item from 1 of my orders that year from these "scam"mers like a cable or small electronic part. I am definitely going to check  the last card or more I used on Ebay in case they charge me like some other replies.  Another reason to use more secure payments like paypal instead directly through Ebay.

Now seeing/reading more of the replies, it's definitely some spyware tracking-like related "scam" (from any device that connects to the internet). But... is it supposed to make Ebay look bad or make people not want to order/search on there or from some Seller's site outside US that's making people **bleep** at ebay so they'll instead magically go to theirs that no one knows of...

I talked to someone about this & it turned on a light(memory) that in 2020  MANY people including them (& some at their work place) receiving some "mystery seeds" in some unlabelled small seed square packet they obviously didn't order with no return address. It even reached the local news! That many people were getting these creepy unknown seeds or similar garden related items from the same address or no return address.

This is almost as bad & useless as another airmail spam scammer I've been getting for past 6months of coins (not from ebay), & I haven't bought fake or not collector's coins for decades. Those scammers are worse because they DO include a "letter"/fake receipt/fake bill saying you didn't pay the amount of your order, BUT I read it closer & slowly & noticed it said "send your order" & another "letter" I got from same mail scammer said "To receive your first  shipment" Pssh. I only freaked out 1st time from those mail scammers because they actually DID send me some coins I didn't order with a similar letter/insert with them but it said order#2, so that was a sign it was scam/fake but I Still reported them to BBB & made a separate email address to tell them to not charge me & have it returned (so they wouldn't steal/spyware/spam anything in my normally used email addresses).  Wonder if I can also report this fake seller or whatever they are on BBB also (& maybe some other certain sites of reviews).

Man what a waste of energy & time figuring out this is a fake order from fake "business" not a real one.

Hey Hey, I just received a box thru UPS from CS@ORANGECONNEX.COM at 3701 Centrella Street, Franklin Park, IL 60131...

It has bags of cone spikes for the bottom of speaker cabinet or amplifier or turntables etc. I ordered these items, but not from a local source. I think this company has multiple distribution points. The other people that received items they didn't order is a mistake. Horrible shipping dept.

Re: Random Tiny Things from CS@OrangeConnex.com

My mother had gotten a package form them and it contained a pc mouse size plush with a key chain on it and a note in a almost typewriter font and it said “ Hi friend, There is an promotion for new and old customers in our shop, when you buy products , you also will receive an extra gift, hope you like it. At the same time the product you purchased has been shipped, I will send you the tracking number asap. If you have any other questions, pls feel free to contact me. Thanks. Best wishes and all the best for you ^_^” I can tell that is is definitely that a human typed it due to the “pls” and the space on both side of the comma after the word products and the thing is my mom hasn’t ordered anything form eBay so this doesn’t make sense. Please help we don’t know what to do

Cheap or nothing inside you are being used as a location in a zip code for the item receive by zip code: and not delivered to a correct address.

This is the most likly cause of such actions.

Re: Random Tiny Things from CS@OrangeConnex.com

I recently received a package from OrangeConnex. Some other posts mentioned “Brushing” where a seller send you a package that you did not order. After peeling back the label on my package, I noticed the tracking number was one for another order that I already received. Though it was not the same product that I had ordered from seller “bidcharming”. I figured it was a free gift for ordering from them. I could raise the issue that I received the wrong product, but since I already received it sooner than the actual promised date, I’ll just let it go.

I just got a package from CX Connex that contained a 4X size dress; its huge, see-through, and smells foul. No receipt, no nothing but their address is listed as Franklin Park, IL.

I know nothing about this so will probably toss it....glad I found these posts!

Re: Random Tiny Things from CS@OrangeConnex.com

I just received a tiny metal part from them as well, I was clueless as to who, and why they shipped this tiny pin part to me.  I checked for invoices , there was none.  So, I Google and now I see that I'm not the only one to received this delivery .  Thank you all for  posting your experience , it was most helpful .

Re: Random Tiny Things from CS@OrangeConnex.com

If you receive anything with return address from Orange connex, look at the package ID#. That till match up with your email tracking number. If so, you just got scammed from what you just ordered. Found this out other day. Ordered car part and I got a ink pen refill as my purchase. $80 ink pen refill lol.

Just click "Return this item" then select the "Wrong item sent" reason to start a return request.

Don't let the seller get away with it, @mylast-9723!

Re: Random Tiny Things from CS@OrangeConnex.com

Ordered $30 engine kit model from ebay (from China) due in a few days. Got bad white metal engine "statue" from CS today - just crap.

Did not order. How do we shut these people down.? Where did they get my address? How to return or contact them?

Mad as hell...
