So I have a buyer that is apparently overseas and is using a forwarding service. I’ve shipped to other buyers using a forwarding service in the past with no problems. In this case though when the buyer entered their shipping address they entered the state abbreviation DE as well as typed out Deleware. When I went to create the address label it errored out because of the address and prompted me to correct it. I went in to edit it and set the state to Deleware but I got a message that said if I shipped to another address then what was entered in the checkout I wouldn’t have seller protection. So my question is since I’m sending it to the address just correcting the state would I still be covered? It’s a fairly expensive item, around $180, so I just wanted to make sure I would be covered by correcting the state on the shipping label.

Thanks! Everything is exactly the same the state just errored out due to them entering DE and typing out Deleware. I figured it would be okay to correct I just freaked out a bit when I saw the seller protection thing. Thanks again!

You're covered as long as it's the same zip code
I think there would be no problems with the address change in this situation, since really the address is not being "changed". But, two general comments.
