I recently sold a 1970 Italian floor light. The item is rare and I had onluy ever saw 1 on Ebay.
The fixture has 2 bulbs that can be adjusted to tilt forward/backward. I did this with a screwdriver.
the light is intended to wash a wall with light.
The buyer states that the light is worthless since it does not have the knob to adjust the bulbs.
Since this is an antique and I could find very little info about it I did not know if there was supposed to be a knob. Buyer states the listing should have stated missing knob. The light is far from worthless and I question how often you would change the angle of the bulbs if you are washing the wall with light ?
The sale ended 11pm Sun eve. The buyer paid Mon AM, I shipped Mon PM. Delivered Thurs. Shipped same day as purchase. Delivered 2 days after paid date.
Buyer contacted me 14 days after the sale date and 10 days after delivery dateasking about missing knob.
I am questioning offereing a partial refund due to missing part, that I had no idea was missing., Or
asking if she would agree to splt the return shipping for full refund because I feel my listing could not include info on missing knob if I didnt knpow about knob. I wonder how she knpws there was a knob. as stated earlier there is very ;ittle info on the light online.
I have read here that Ebay will almost always side with buyer and I would appreciate any advise anyone can provide.
Thanks

If the buyer files a SNAD complaint, you will be paying for return shipping and giving a full refund.

Google this: Vintage Flos Noce T Side Floor Lamp by Achille Castiglioni, 1972, Italy
"Has two rotatable socket to adjust the light."
Not sure how I'd handle this but the buyer is correct.

Thanks.
Appreciate help. Mine only had one slot for adjusting bulbs. Maybe newer ones have two.
