Printing Labels changed?

I use a thermal label printer

Yesterday the labels were not loading to print and today the options are all changed.....

I could rotate and set borders to none and there were several other options.

Now, none of that exists.

Where my labels were CLEAN

now, I have to go through  a 10 step process to print my labels through paint or photoshop and they are blurry and not CLEAN.

I've tried Chrome (my usual), internet explorer and firefox.

What is the problem?

Is there a way to return the settings to their normal?

Per eBay: Starting on June 16, some sellers began experiencing issues when attempting to print shipping labels from the eBay labels platform. The issue stems from a Microsoft Windows patch that rolled out earlier today and only impacts PC users who installed the patch.

I DIDN'T install any patch and am having the problem!!

Meanwhile I and I'm sure others, experience shifting "issues" that are sucking up huge amounts of time and patience!

"You may notice some changes within the printing process. The fix requires the label to be printed as a PDF instead of an image file. When you print a new shipping label, you will see a PDF preview of the label on the Print Postage Label confirmation page instead of an image preview."
I got a screen that says "PDF CANNOT BE VIEWED". What now? I cannot click print, I cannot save to downloads nor docs.
Every label I've attempted to purchase yesterday and today has had a random assortment of glitches. No two the same!!!
*PRINT LABEL button just takes you back to PRINT LABEL button.
*label way too big
*label too small, I printed it anyway
*label on it's side, humph, at least I had a label
*two copies print EVEN THOUGH I HAVE (1) SELECTED
*a label prints overlapping two sticky labels, usable but wastes my label supply
Your workarounds on the Announcements page are, I will have to say, too complicated for me. I tried to glean out what may apply to me and my set-up, nada.
I feel like I am talking to myself.

I am having that issue too.  Not able to get labels to print at all.  ARe they fixing this issue?

on the announcement board he other day they said they were working it-they're blaming a microsoft patch

Paula, you probbly have windows set to automatically download and install available patches.  Most people have it set up that way and don't know it.  If you leave your computer on at night and in the morning find that it has been rebooted - that was probably Microsoft updating you automatically.  MS recommends this so they can update you with a security patche as soon as they release it.

I use adhesive-backed pre-scored labels that have one shipping label and a "Online Label Record" label on the bottom half (small area).  I used to set my margins such that it would print within the correct areas.  I just found that I can get the shipping label and online label record to print within the correct areas if I select, "Fit to page."  The scale then jumps to 96%.  The shipping label is a bit off-center, but at least everything prints within the label area.  I'll make do with this for now.  It's no extra work for me.

UPDATE - Today (6/20) I printed a label, and all the options were back.  I set my margins the way I used to, and all was great.  They must have switched it back.

Really hope so. Since the labels went wack, my sales also 100% stopped.
I was selling 1 - 2 items every-single-day, then the labels stopped and my sales stopped.

Haven't had the chance to print a label since sales have STOPPED but, anyway, I hope at least the labels are back to normal!

I just printed another one and it worked again, though I think I'll need to tweak my vertical margin setting just a little bit from what worked before.  My label still prints a little off-center when using my old settings.  Nice to see all this working again, though.  Good luck with your sales.

I'm having the same issues. Also, with this new format there is'nt a drop down box anymore with the day and date you are shipping the item. So, if I get the label to print it's going to have todays date on the label and I wouldn't be shipping until Monday. They need to go back to the old format. It was so simple. Now it's so complicated it's terrible !! If something isn't broke don't fix it !!! Come on Ebay listen to your customers !!!!

You are replying to a thread that's nearly a year old. The problem you are having isn't the same. You have been put into the new streamlined version of the label prep form, which is indeed missing several important options.

Look in the upper-right corner of your label form , for the link to opt back into the old version.
