As long as I can remember .. There was a "button" about 1/3 of the way down the listing (just above the description, on the right side) that allowed you to choose one of 3 options for printing out your item listing.
I always printed out a copy of the listing and included it in the package with the item. Today I went to do the same thing and the "Print" button was gone. Why ? This tool is of GREAT use. I used it for EVERY sale I made. I called eBay customer service and they had no answer. The only suggestion was to do use the "Print Screen" option on my computer. This isn't as good as the eBay Print Listing because it includes info that isn't useful to the buyer and it doesn't leave the proper space I used to mark the item Paid In Full and a Thank You for your purchase note.
How can I / we let eBay know how important this button was ? Any suggestions ?
Thanks in Advance,

Great to have that link. Thanks. Too bad it is even necessary to discuss such an insane necessity. Sheer stupidity.

That is supposed to be a sarcastic joke, right?

Thanks, that link is handy! But for me, it only works for active listings not for Completed ones.

As a buyer who spends many thousands of dollars shopping on eBay, I want to say to the sellers who think that the Print button is not necessary, that it truly is. If I can't print out the listings, with photos, for every item that I buy, I don't buy. Those printed records are essential to my purchases. So please continue to bring this issue to eBay's attention until the button (which has been lost and restored before) is once again restored. If I can't print, I won't shop. It's that simple. And I'm not about to print the pages directly because all of the ads and "suggested items", etc., will print as well. It's a horrible waste to have all of that excess nonsense included. If I'm not shopping, those sellers who would have had me as a bidder are losing money. Ebay's glitches and their bad decisions cost us all.

With the print button option a person was able to pick & choose what they want printed. You were able to print all the info in the listing if needed. ie description, pictures, date purchased, date shipped, bids etc. Printing the ORDER DETAILS does not include such info. Sure you can print that page & you will get a dinky picture, NO description or any other extra info needed. Or you can go to the PRINTER FRIENDLY page. There you just get basic info, NO picture(s) or description or other extra info. Finally if you just print whats on the screen when going to original listing - WHO IN THE WORLD would want all that extra junk - advertising etc. So in conclusion YES PLEASE PUT THE PRINT BUTTON BACK

Why? Seriously, I'm curious what the use of the printouts might be. I buy (and sell) a lot of stuff on eBay, too, and haven't printed out a listing in years. Am I overlooking something?

Hi, I could NOT find View Purchased Item ANYWHERE among the "Sponsored ..." and "What Others ..." clutter.

There is another posting string regarding this issue. Apparently a lot of us like to keep a record of our purchases. Like a lot of people, I save this info to a file. I did find the same workaround you posted and I was extremely frustrated because I had already left feedback for a couple of items. Then I discovered yet another workaround for when feedback has already been posted. If you go into your purchase history and then under View Order Details, you will see More Actions with a dropdown menu. Click on View Paypal Transaction and eBay will assume you had a problem with the item and bring up the item in a small window to the right and will give you the option to View Purchased Item, which brings up the old print screen. The only problem with this is if you purchased multiple items, it will only bring up the first item. However, with some finagling the other night, I managed to print out the other item on the order as well. I don't remember exactly how I accomplished that.

I agree the loss of the PRINT button is a huge inconvenience. I print a record of everything I buy and file it in a binder (is that too 20th century? really?). My only work around on a Mac is to take a screen capture of the area I want to print from the listing history (command-shift-4) and then print the screen shot. Ridiculous waste of time!

In this example "012345678901" is the item number - replace this with your item number
This link is awesome for items I won! Thank you so much!! For my collection, it is VERY important to have a print out of my item listing, so I can prove where it came from if I ever want to resell it.
However, it does not work for items I didn't win, that I'm bidding on or are simply ended. 😞

Two ways to "Print"/Save a listing I can think of using Firefox:
i) Go to the "Open Menu" button (top right on toolbar) and choose "Print". If you don't want to print a physical copy, download a free PDF printer driver (cutepdf or bullzip seem to be a couple- I use the function in Adobe Acrobat Pro, but this costs $$$).
ii) In the same "Open Menu" in firefox, choose "Save Page" and choose "Web Page, Complete" from the "Save as type" dropdown. This saves the ENTIRE page that can be opened any time in firefox offline and printed from there if needed.
Hope this helps.

The problem with PDF printers (BTW, PDFCreator is another one but be careful to uncheck installation of the bundled adware) is that they save as a graphic and not as text. The eBay Print feature saves as text.

I can't seem to find the option :View Purchased Item that was mentioned that can get you to the Print option. I absolutely need the option to keep all the information for myself in case I want to resell it some day, keep track of what I paid for it and a picture for myself and for insurance reasons.
Ebay absolutely needs to bring it back so it is easily found for all.

i would like to see some enterprising programmer offer an overlay toolbar that would contain fixes to some or all of the nonsensical, anti-productive changes that ebay has and continuies to foist on its loyal, yet disgusted customers/sellers.
Just sayin'
