As long as I can remember .. There was a "button" about 1/3 of the way down the listing (just above the description, on the right side) that allowed you to choose one of 3 options for printing out your item listing.
I always printed out a copy of the listing and included it in the package with the item. Today I went to do the same thing and the "Print" button was gone. Why ? This tool is of GREAT use. I used it for EVERY sale I made. I called eBay customer service and they had no answer. The only suggestion was to do use the "Print Screen" option on my computer. This isn't as good as the eBay Print Listing because it includes info that isn't useful to the buyer and it doesn't leave the proper space I used to mark the item Paid In Full and a Thank You for your purchase note.
How can I / we let eBay know how important this button was ? Any suggestions ?
Thanks in Advance,

Only applies if you directly purchased the item. Does not help if you simply wish to print any item for sale.

I used the PRINT button to keep a record of my sale. The print button at the bottom of the preview page doesn't work - never has?
I liked having a choice of what I wanted to print without all of the advertising and I didn't have to print the listing images. BRING IT BACK - PLEASE.
No one has to use it if they don't want to.

For an item you have Sold, go to the listing and click on "View purchased item" in the list of links at the top-left of the page.

That's what I did - now the button is gone. The Print button on the preview page doesn't work - never did.
I printed all but the images and kept a nice record. Why is Ebay deciding for me how I want to keep my recoprds?

So, there are still ways of getting a PRINT of a purchased item and a sold item. But, there is no longer a way to get a PRINT of something that you are bidding on or are interested in, right? That stinks. Come on Ebay, you are only hurting yourself by having done this!

Another good reason to print a listing page is because your Unsold Listings expire in 60 days if not relisted. Being able to print the page (to a PDF file or XPS file) is a good way to rebuild the listing later if it expires, sinply by copying and pasting into a new listing. But it seems eBay is always removing features that help the small sellers - they really have changed their focus in recent years to big sellers with stores that they get a monthly fee from even if the items don't sell. they simply don't make it easy for small time sellers to list anymore. After 10 years of being a seller, I'm just about to the point where I am going to look elsewhere for a sellig forum.

I collect meteorites and used the print function to print out the original listing with photos and descriptions. I needed the dcumentation to show where I purchased the item from. If I decide to sell the item at a later time, I can show where the item came from in order to show provenience which is very important to any collector.

Click on the Leave Feedback link, then hover over the 'Order details" link next to the item title, and the popup window has a "View purchased item" link which brings up the old Print window (or nearly the same window).

I just noticed this problem today. It's terrible!! I often do a lot of research before buying certain collectibles on ebay, and I use the print button to print copies of related listings. I don't waste paper. Instead, I print them to a file and store them on my computer where I can refer back to them to compare/check details. Using the print screen option is cumbersome because I have to save the pictures one at a time in separate files. The print button provided a nice all-in-one reference containing all of the pictures. Shame on ebay for being so out of touch with their customers. Are they using a Soviet business model? Sheesh!

Today, March 4, the workaround doesn't work. Ebay has eliminated "view purchased item" in the window at orde details. It seems they are determined to prevent us from printing the complete original listing of a purchased item.

I was wrong - must have done something incorrectly because I just tried again and it worked. It is nice to have this workaround, but it would be so much nicer if ebay would just give us back that Print button.
Thanks for getting me to retry printing this way.
