Potential buyer wants to re-ship my item to someone else

Hello,

I received a very odd offer today. An item I have for sale is listed as "Buy It Now" for $75.00, with an "Or Best Offer" option. A potential buyer made an offer of exactly $75.00 with a message attached (I've removed specific information which would ID them with ****):

"hello seller , this is ***** on ebay,i am mailing this item to florida tampa, kindly text me via cellphone (***)*** **** ************@gmail.com"

Their ship to location is somewhere in the UK. This whole thing screams scam to me, but I wanted to get someone else's thoughts before I accept or reject their offer. I've already sent them a message asking for clarification.

Thank you very much!

Decline their offer. Anyone asking you to text or call them is a scammer.

Don't forget to add the ID to your blocked bidder list.
