i started a return through paypal. i know this was a mistake and i should have done it though ebay. they seller keeps messaging me through ebay, which i cannot message back because of the open cause in paypal. i cannot even message him in paypal anymore because i escalated the case because he stopped returning. that got his attention, but he is still messaging through ebay trying to come up with a solution.
i have no way of contacting him. i want to tell him to tell paypal to rule in my favor. if it does, i'm going to send him half the money back since we both messed up and we are both computer illiterates. if paypal doesn't, i'm going to chargeback, which will cost them $20. that's the opposite of what i want. i want to win and then send them $20 ($40 item).
what can i do? the seller wants to be reasonable. they have a huge store and just did not notice (maybe). i have no way of contacting them.
