Postage refund

I sold an item and purchased the postage thru Ebay.  I am unable to locate the item in my home (house renovation going on)  

I have cancelled the order, to refund the customer but I would like to get refunded the postage that I paid.

Any help is appreciated.

Go to My Ebay. Then ORDERS and then look for SHIPPING LABELS.  Click that and look for the item. Somewhere there  you see the word action. Click it and you see the choice VOID label.  Click it.  The refund can take up to 3 weeks to get.  Media and parcel post take the longest. Priority mail and first class is usually refunded in 7-10 days.   Goodluck with the renovations.

You can request to void the label on the drop down menu of the order status, but USPS has time limits on when you can request labels to be voided.  It will depend upon when you paid for the shipping label.

You can void an unused eBay postage label up to 5 days after purchase.
