I made a typo inputting my tracking info - I did not realize I had made one as Ebay showed that the number I entered was a valid USPS tracking number. I have been watching/checking tracking on the USPS website using this number and noticed no status updates. I checked my shipping receipt today and saw the typo and typed it in the USPS website which showed the item was delivered yesterday. I sent the buyer a message saying I had made a typo with a screencap of the USPS website showing it had been delivered.
I can't find a way to fix this typo on my end and the seller says they can not leave me feedback as the typo-tracking doesn't show it has been delivered. What can I do to fix this? Help, please.

Okay, I could not find it in any of the places mentioned above.
I have found it here:
My Ebay>Selling>Sold> - Find the item here with "Edit Tracking"

You can go back and enter the correct one as a second tracking number. There is no way to remove the other one , you can only add more. The buyer can mark an item delivered. As long as the buyer has the item and is happy, you could just let it go. Save the correct number in case it's needed later.

Where do I input a 2nd tracking number? I can't find that.

On your orders page there will be a small edit link next to the tracking number. Click on that and edit the number. https://www.ebay.com/sh/ord/?filter=status:ALL_ORDERS
The system will see it as a new tracking number, uploaded late, so don't be surprised if it shows up on your "tracking uploaded on time and validated" seller performance rating. It will age off that metric after 3 months. It may also appear on your "late shipping" rating.

I can not find a way to add a 2nd tracking number or update the current typo-ed tracking.

By chance are you using a phone? You probably need to be on a computer to add a tracking number. BTW if you purchase the postage here it is not only discounted, it also automatically puts in the tracking.

I'm on a PC.

Can somebody post a generic screencap of the area where I could input a correct tracking number?

That is not correct. You can simply click 'edit' on the tracking number shown in your 'orders' in the 'Seller Hub'.
Well, you're both kinda right.
You cannot remove a tracking number when the label is purchased through eBay, only add a second number.
You can edit or remove any tracking number for any label not purchased through eBay.

Did you click on the link I posted above? The edit link is literally right next to (or below) the tracking number. You'll see the word edit - just click on that.

You are correct; my apologies to @simba6 ; when you purchase a label on ebay and then manually add the same tracking number to a 2nd/3rd item ordered, as I do quite often, you CAN click 'edit' and fix the tracking number if you've done a typo- which I've done.
But, if you only have the 1 item, then you will have to simply add the 2nd tracking number and best to message the buyer what transpired. 1 item will still show 'never received' by the carrier and will 'ding' your metrics a tiny bit (if it's not a habit, not an issue).
