I paid $14 to mail an order to the UK and it got returned saying 'insufficient customs form' with no customs form attached! The post office lady had me fill it out and never attached it. I don't need to pay again do I? It's their mistake!!!

The information on the Customs Form should have been entered into the computer by the Postal Agent which is standard procedure. Afterwards, the agent should have given you the Customers Copy of the Customs Form. Did you receive a copy? All packages including USPS First Class International can be tracked to their destination.
Your Post Office, may as a courtesy resend the package for you or they could tell you that the Form may have fallen off but not that the Postal Agent forgot to attach the form.

I just went and found my receipt, and I did receive a copy of the customs form!!! Does that help? I guess I'll just go there and show them the package was returned to me and see what they do?

Why didn't you print your own postage and customs declaration?

"insufficient customs form" could mean that you omitted some important information such as the "value" of the item you shipped. Foreign countries use this infornation to determine the import charges and duties the recipient has to pay when the parcel is delivered.
The Customs Declaration Form has to be accurately and fully filled out. If the Form was missing informatiuon you may have to pay for reshipping.

Some sellers are unwilling to spend $100.00 on a printer.
They haven't figured out that buying a printer and doing the labels for themselves that
they get the $100.00 back over and over and over and over again.
My printer punked out on me so I go to FedEx office now to print my postage labels via flash drive lol. Sick of keep buying printers. I've gone through so many printers.
