Possible scam?

I bought a PS4 Pro on the 5th of July. Seller sent a tracking number this morning showing the item shipped July 2nd. What’s going on here?

Re: Possible scam?

The seller also uploaded a USPS tracking number that isn't a valid USPS tracking number.

The next thing you can do is to open an Item Not Received case one day past the estimated delivery date, if it is not to you by then. Good luck!

Right, that's a UPS number that was generated back on July 2. Seller account has sold an iPhone and two PS4s one day apart using the same photos. The iPhone and one game console were supposedly shipping from the Netherlands; the second console is supposedly shipping from New York. Yeah, right.

Someone's selling account got hacked. File the Item Not Received dispute as soon as the last Estimated Date of Delivery has passed. If the tracking number shows Delivered, things may get a little sticky if the Delivery location is the buyer's City and ZIP, but let's drive off that bridge when we come to it. 😉 For right now, follow the tracking daily and file the Item Not Received as soon as possible.

Re: Possible scam?

If you are in HENDERSONVILLE, NC, then your item is in transit with Scheduled Delivery tomorrow by 9pm.  It also shows Adult Signature Required.

It appears that the OP is about 20 miles from there, but more significantly, UPS says that they shipped that package from California three days before the OP actually bought the item.

Thus there's some sillybuggers going on here, and when the OP has to file the Item Not Received dispute, hopefully the ultimate delivery point for this mystery shipment will be someplace other than the OP's actual City and ZIP.

Same thing here: Seller uploaded a UPS (not the USPS stated in the listing) tracking number, which UPS tracking said 2 days before I bought the item was already headed for delivery in a nearby city. Then it was delivered, and signed by someone else. Throughout, the seller would not respond.

https://ip1.i.lithium.com/9b4c6ab6b9a781aba60dc87baaf4b1952fdb4618/687474703a2f2f696d616765732e7765736572762e6e6c2f3f75726c3d636f6d6d756e6974792e656261792e636f6d2f74352f696d6167652f736572766572706167652f696d6167652d69642f3634313933326934384336353135434634363638444432

So I started a return request for "Wrong item sent" and escalated after 3 business days after the seller still would not respond, enclosed the packing slip and a printout with handwritten notes of the UPS tracking for that someone else's package in a USPS Priority envelope, affixed the eBay-issued Priority Return Service label, and it's undeliverable back to the seller.

To get my refund, I will escalate again after it arrives back.
