Poor business practices

Screenshot_20220224-103106.png

my account is now restricted because eBay said I didn't upload the tracking info on the package I shipped to the buyer, but I bought the label from them and it indicates that doing so uploads the tracking number automatically when you do this. Now I have several thousand dollars being kept from me due to this situation.

Re: Poor business practices

Restricted or removed? This account is only 2 day old? Were you selling on a different account? Can you post a photo of the message with personal information blacked out?

Re: Poor business practices

I only see a 4500 item you sold: did you send with signature conformation: if not you most likly will be refunding them..and lose of your item.

If a case is opened you always enter the tracking number there. You always check and be sure tracking was entered by eBay if postage purchased through eBay has a tracking number...

New user what could go wrong with all of this?????

RE; "This account is only 2 day old? Were you selling on a different account?" Sorry I looked at the wrong date. This account has been open longer than 2 days.

Re: Poor business practices

I see that the item you sold was sold to an established member. That's reassuring, IMO.

I think the restriction is because you're a new seller so eBay will put a hold on the money.

If you go to your orders, are you seeing the tracking number on this one? If not, paste it into the space.

I can explain it to you but I can’t understand it for you.

Re: Poor business practices

@alexba7111   I suspect what really has your account restricted and possibly suspended soon is the fact that this ID is a new account, (0) Feedback and you sold an item for $ 4,500.00.  That money will be on hold for a long time.

If you have the tracking number on the Sold item just follow it's progress ... you can also do the same on the carrier's web site just to make sure both they and eBay are showing the same progress of the package's movements.

I really hope this works out for you but be prepared to wait a while to get paid.

Re: Poor business practices

Doesn't look like your account is restricted, looks like just your payment is on hold.  eBay does this with new sellers to make sure things work smoothly for both you and the buyer.  Go to your payments tab and look at the status.  For new sellers payout can take up to 3 weeks.

@alexba7111

Did the buyer file an Item Not Received case?

If they did, you should have uploaded the tracking number to the INR case.

Did you add signature confirmation to the shipping?

Since you're a new seller, the funds would probably held for 30 days.

Have a great day.
