Please, please would eBay reconsider and reverse limiting shipping options?
This is the time of year buyers want faster and more shipping options, not fewer options.
See the Community Chat answer, link below. That is not how it's working on my book listings. I offer Media Mail as the first option of course. Priority or First Class second option (depending on weight), then Priority Express.
If I include only Media and Priority, then the system shows ONLY Media Mail on the listing. If I include all 3 options, then it drops out Priority.
Buyers who miss the Media Mail deadline 12/14 for arrival by the holiday want Priority/First Class (deadline 12/20, 12/21) as that gets it there on time. Few buyers want to pay Express unless they're buying last-minute (12/23).
If I don't include Express, then both Media and First Class are shown, but not Priority (needed for books over 1 lb.).
It makes a difference to offer the options buyers want, especially this time of year. Please don't hobble sales like this.

Please help. Should I post this problem in Technical Issues instead? The limits on shipping options are not working as described.
The system is not letting me offer Priority Mail as a faster shipping option for books over 1 lb.

Hi @tree*fern, either here or the technical issue board are appropriate for this topic, no worries. Can you share some item numbers as examples so I can look into this further?

Remember, when a seller looks at their own listing, they see the shipping costs and delivery time for a buyer in their own ZIP Code. So I wonder whether eBay's estimated delivery date for Media Mail is the same as for Priority Mail, for your own ZIP Code, so they don't show Priority because it's more expensive. You can test this possibility by going to one of the listings in question and changing the ZIP Code to one that's in a Zone far from you.

Thanks @Anonymous ! Looks like the problem has been corrected since Friday.
I'm guessing maybe this was just one of those regular weekly Thursday/Friday glitches (caused by maintenance)?
BTW I think of it as eBay's Friday Tech Funnies. For example, the previous week's fun prank blanked out the description on all my listings for about 24 hours.
I've started eliminating Express from my shipping options on new listings. Typically I get only one or two of those during the holidays. This time of year, more people want Priority / First Class as the faster option vs. Media, so it's just not worth the convenience for those few Express buyers if the system is going to auto-eliminate Priority / First Class in favor of Express.

Thanks for the suggestion, @nobody*s_perfect ! I spot-checked listings using a West Coast ZIP Code, and then my own zip, and so far the estimates and options are as they should be.
