It's been 2 weeks and my "parcel" package is "In-Transit-Delayed" according to USPS Tracking.
**bleep**,Pony Express is faster. The Seller seems like a good guy,but sending something "Parcel Select" is akin to him giving me the finger. The sad part is,my parcel is in the exact same State I live in,it's just been neglected like a stray dog...hoping someone in the striped blue pants puts it on a Effing Truck to be delivered. This is unbelievable!! I wouldn't send Parcel Select to my worst enemy,I'm not THAT cruel!
Needed to vent!! 😕

That's why it's super cheap and the delivery time is 9 business days. BUSINESS days.

I often send parcel select when the item is over 1 cubic foot, and going to zone 5-9.
I do not have problems with that method.
Your delay is not the norm.
I just hada 1st class package take 11 days to make a 4 day trip.
I have 2 incoming package (1st class) that have not made it 70 miles from the regional facility to my post office 3 days after showing in transit from there.

I've had delays with both First Class and Priority Mail.
Did the listing say Parcel Select or just Economy Mail? If it did, either way you're getting a slow service and it was disclosed.
I've had Parcel Select items get delivered in 3 days.. or in 8 or 9. I like when it's fast, but I expect the slow.

Isn't Parcel Select lower priority than Media Mail these days?
You get what you pay for, and sometimes you get even less.

And why can't you wait a couple weeks to get what you purchased?

Finally got my stuff, even the Label look unfamiliar. Just never seen anything take that long(16 days)before. If I really wanna screw with someone, that's the mode of mail I'll use. Lol

I think I broke a new World Record...16 days. I also factored in the MLK Day Holiday and no service on Sundays. At least I got my stuff in 1 piece. 🙂

16 days...a new World Record. Lol
I felt like the kid in the back seat....are we there yet??!!

Apparently,my Seller got his money's worth...all I got was grey hairs in the process. Lol
I finally got my parcel,16 days later. Granted,it was going cross country...but that was a lil excessive.

Because I've been spoiled by the super quick shipping/turnaround time for practically everything I've ever bought on Ebay. I was in unchartered territory. I know, patience is a virtue. I earned plenty of virtue,I'l tell ya.

I think a lot of mail got all backed up all over the country because of the snow we had. I know our local mail delivery didn't even run for several days and some mail carriers ended up delivering on a Sunday to try to get all the mail out of their vehicles.
I remember the mail during the 40s and 50s when it took 6 WEEKS to get something in the mail.

Trust me, 16 days is not a world record. I once had a priority package take over a month to arrive--it happens. Given the amount of packages they handle, I'm shocked it doesn't happen more often.
If the package had to go parcel select, then that probably meant, due to size and distance, another service would have cost you considerably more.

Glad you hear it finally arrived, but more importantly, it's intact.
16 days is lengthy, but at least USPS told you it was going to be delayed. You can't control that, but you can control how you react... no need for gray hairs lol
Did you ask the delivery turtle if he wanted some water?

I've had Fedex Smartpost packages take 20-21 days just to make it to USPS in Memphis. They'll sit in Fedex hubs for a week or more before they start moving again. Once the Post Office gets it, it's delivered the next day.
Good thing I don't order things online that I'm in a hurry for!
