Parcel Select did not appear as a shipping option when printing label?

I just tried to print out a label using ebay for a sold item, weight 3 pounds, normal dimension box.  Although the buyer selected parcel select as the shipping option (and is the option I give to ship my items), it did not appear anywhere as a choice to buy and print the label.  This is the first time this ever happened. I changed to "custom package", clicked on "additional options", etc, and it never appeared. I even checked using the app the on my phone as well as my computer. I had to choose priority instead, which was roughly the same amount as the buyer paid, but a little more. But I want to know where my parcel select option went! I can't be paying more for shipping than the buyer pays.

Are you on a PC or phone. On a PC there is a link called Compare all Services. That should give you a complete list of all shipping options. Parcel Select is way down at the bottom of the list. If your using a phone an don't see that option, try using a browser instead of the app.

I tried on both my PC and the phone, and neither time the option appeared, even when I compared and looked at the additional services.

Hmmm, I just shipped an item under parcel and it first came up as priority just like you. However I did see the option to view other services and chose parcel select as that was what I had intended all along. Unless things are slowly changing for some sellers I still had the option....

3 lbs Priority Mail to zone 5, for example costs only 20 cents more than Parcel Select. You get  a free box or envelope and $50 insurance and the buyer gets it in 2-3 days instead of a week or more. I'm pretty sure if given a choice the buyer would be happy to choose faster delivery for pennies more. You should just ship it PM because it looks like the better choice.

I'm having the same problem not seeing Parcel Select as an option even though buyer selected it.  I wish eBay had a way to report software bugs.

Still having the issue, no matter what I do, I can't get the parcel select option to appear. SO annoying

Lately I have been having similar issues and worse. On another forum it was suggested that Parcel Select isn't offered by eBay and that option is intended if the seller wants to handle the shipping directly through the post office. Is there any way to tell which options will actually be available online? USPS Retail Ground and First-Class Mail are not available through USPS Click-N-Ship. I'm not up for going into the post office and dealing with that. I've been using eBay's shipping options ever since they were rolled out and I have never had this problem before. Additionally, on overseas shipments the amount sometimes charged to the buyer is nowhere near the actual costs to ship, which is what eBay bills me when I create the shipper. This makes an attractive deal for foreign buyers but I'm getting skinned. So far I can't figure out how to avoid this and I don't even know if it is a USPS problem or an eBay problem, but eBay needs to sort this out.eBay charges me more for shipping than buyer!

Parcel Select Ground is an online service; it is not available at the Post Office counter. The retail equivalent is called Retail Ground. Both services used to be known as Parcel Post.
