Package at IL Hub for 10 days, no new international tracking number - has it been shipped or not?

Hi,

I wonder if others can please help me with this:

Have a package at the IL Hub for 11 days now. Tracking says it "being inspected". No further information. Its supposed to be issued with new tracking number, etc for its international journey to me, but no update to tracking has occured. Had a similar package arrive there a few days ago, and it got its new tracking number the same day, which shows its being processed for int shipment by Pitney Bowes.

I have been asking ebay customer support for information on where it is, and havent got a clear answer. I know there is customs labelling, etc done to it prior to int shipping, and this would be documented, so is this available to prove whether its actually leaving or has left the USA? I would be happy just to know if it has left the USA even without the new tracking number, but I need to know it has actually left, and hasnt gone into a black hole, or been stolen at the Hub.

Can someone please advise me how to proceed to find out the current status of my package? I dont think CS is going to be of any further help.

When the package receives the international label and starts heading to your country you will see it on tracking. Until then, the package is sitting at the hub awaiting or undergoing processing and you won't get more details than that.

Most buyers/sellers have been reporting packages sitting at the hub for at least 2 weeks before moving (some longer).

Until the estimated delivery date on your order approaches, there is no need to worry.

Thanks for the replies, guys. I feel somewhat better about this now.

I have a question relating to this, and thats about refunds. If the est delivery date comes and passes without me receiving the item, and I get a refund from Ebay, does anything therefore happen to the fate of item if it is still stuck at the Hub? Im referring to whether it still is processed once it surfaces, and is shipped out as normal, or does ebay take possession of it - seeing they have paid me out for it? Thanks.

Same boat mate. This month 4 packages have been lost or stolen at the Glendale Heights, IL facility. Not random card only cards over 1k $

Any updates with your packages? My package is stuck since Sept 13th and the estimated delivery date is Oct 3rd.  Thanks.
