P.O. Box

I am trying to buy a USB flash drive delivered to my P.O. Box, but I keep getting an error message that says the following:

We noticed a problem. Please review:
your items.

Unfortunately, this seller will not ship to a P.O. Box. Please update your shipping address and try again.

Why won't this work?

P.O. Box

Go back to the listing page and check the “Shipping” section.  Are P.O. Boxes listed as an excluded shipping location?

P.O. Box

eBay allows sellers to set up their shipping preferences to exclude shipping to PO Boxes.  This was intended as a convenience for sellers who ship via UPS or FedEx, but is occasionally set up by sellers who ship via USPS, for various illogical reasons.

The best workaround is to use  the USPS service called "Street addressing," which is available at most (but not all ) POs specifically as a workaround in this situation.

@olilan_39

We run into this frequently as we use a PO Box for most deliveries.

Some sellers only use UPS/FedEx. Not a problem. For those sellers we do use our street address which is more convenient as it’s not an extra run to post office.

If you feel you have a secure street address for such deliveries, just put in your street address. Or you can always find a seller who ships USPS.

P.O. Box

Perhaps you did not know this:  There are small towns and rural areas throughout America where the only place that the person can receive their mail is at a PO box.  In addition, many people, one reason or another,  have chosen to only receive mail at a PO box which they rent at the post office, presumably the one most convenient for their purposes.  In other words, there are people who do not actually have a street address to which mail can be delivered.

Sellers who do not ship to PO boxes evidently have no idea what a PO box is.  It's a locked box, accessible only by the owner and by PO personnel, in a Federal building.  In terms of delivery security, you can't get much safer than that.

Unfortunately, there is the choice of sellers to refuse delivery to those behind a PO Box. It is advertised up front & should not allow you to purchase if that is your registered address. You can message the seller to ask,  but can't force them to do business with you.

Look into the suggestions of others above to see if that will change things for you.
