Notice Left

Hello everyone,

I recently purchased a $42.05 dollar gift from Japan for my son (which is already at my local area), and a notice from USPS has been left on Dec 13 when I was at work and my son was at school. The gift is expected to arrive between Dec 13 and Dec 28. Since no one was home at the time, the notice is left and when I got home, I filled it out (checking off the boxes saying"redeliver" and signing, assuring that it will be left out on the front porch). I have no time to go to my local USPS for pickup. When I checked again later, the peach-colored notice was gone and replaced with regular mail, indicating the carrier had taken it. Will this guarantee that my parcel will be re-delivered at my doorstep within the next few days (dropped off without anyone home)?

You should be asking these questions at your local post office.  Call there or go there in person.

OK kids, time to get the Dodge loaded up again. I hear 'Poppy's By the Tree' calling. This trip might be a long one too.
