Tried to print out a label this morning through ebay. Unfortunately the go back to classic button is gone and I have to use the new shipping page. I put in the weight as being 16 oz because it is 15.3 and you cannot put 15.3 on the new page. On the old shipping page, putting 16 ounces in was then converted to 15.9 ounces. Ebay does not recognize 16 ounces as being first class on the new shipping page, will only let a priority label be purchased.
I had to go to PP and print the label to get the first class package rate. YES, 15.9 ounces is first class ebay! Will someone fix this soon? Hope I am calling an ebay person right.

They keep making these "upgrades" to pages before they are ready and there are bugs everywhere. These changes ebay is making that is slowing sellers down are extremely frustrating.

While we wait for eBay to fix their programming, the easy solution would be to enter 15 ounces. The postage cost is the same.

Yeah, I figured that out later but it would be nice if ebay would fix it.

And what if overzealous PO clerk decides the package was underweight and decides to assign counter rates?
This new shipping flow sucks on more than one level.

You know that, I know that, but do USPS workers know?

Also @ alan @ brian.t @trinton new format does not acknowledge regional shipping rates. These are two very important matters that need fixing since I cannot switch to classic anymore.

I'm suffering this too and the over zealous Post Office Clerks will get me, I promise!

I'm defaulting to Priority at 16 ounces or one pound, entered either way

I have been fighting this and another issue with the new shipping page since Friday with no acknowledgment from Ebay that there even is a problem. The other problem with the new shipping page is I cannot print shipping labels, it shows the following error message in red across the top of the screen: Error creating label:Label could not be generated. Internal error.
I too am running into the new shipping page incorrectly computing postage for 1st class 16oz packages. The classic page charged $5.53 for 1st class 16oz packages, the new page changes the shipping method to Priority Mail Flat Rate Box and charges $6.75.
When I attempted to ship a 16oz package on Friday and the new page didn't work, I went to the PayPal shipping page and guess what, not only did it work, it only charged me $5.12 for the 16oz package. So much for Ebay's so-called 41% shipping discount.
This morning I sent them a new email, (my 6th since Friday), along with screenshots of the classic page with the correct amount, the new page with the incorrect amount with the error message, and the PayPal page with the cheaper rate. Apparently they are still chewing on this one cause unlike my other emails, they haven't responded to this one yet.

Even if Ebay gets the 16oz rate to work like the classic page did, Ebay is charging $5.53 while PayPal is only charging $5.12. So it looks like even with Ebay's so-called 41% discount, they are still overcharging us by $.41 per shipment. Multiply that out over millions of shipments and that's quite a handsome extra profit they're making at our expense.

Those are the current prices for two different Zones. For the same weight and Zone, you will be charged the same amount by eBay and PayPal.

Thank you for the Pay Pal suggestion. I am also getting only the Priority mail option for 16onz. from the new label page. (On IPad)
