Hello everyone,
I have been told by a USPS rep that my flat rate priority mail box that I shipped out on July 24th has been lost and that they suggested that I file a claim. I purchased my label through eBay and I am not sure as to how to obtain a "Printed electronic online label record or computer printout from the application used to print the label and purchase the insurance."
I am hoping that a seller with far more experience can help me out with this.
Thank you for your time in reading this.

I recently filed the same claim for a package that disappeared after arriving at the origin sort facility on July 8, and received a check for the full amount two days ago.
On your Sold Items page, open the pulldown menu in the Actions column for that item, and find the View Order Details option. That will bring up a Sales Record page for that order number, containing the Purchase Details, Shipping Details and the Item Payment information. Print that to a PDF file, and upload it as an attachment to your on-line claim.

You don't need a receipt, just proof you purchased over the web. When I print through Ebay half the page that you cut off is the receipt record

How do I prove that I purchased it via eBay?
Do I take a screenshot of my transaction details?

When my label is printed through eBay, that is all I get ~ the label. There is nothing on the other half of the sheet.

Hmmmm. That is strange. The only time I don't get the receipt half is when I do the trading card rate. Be careful here, but I know you can reprint the original label at no charge, but this may be too late since it's old sale. Keep in mind you don't want to print a new label(you would be charged again).

No worries, I have been doing this for 14 years and still get confused with Ebay changing theirs rules every 3 or 4 months. From laptop or computer. Hover over Orders. Then go down to "Paid and Shipped". Then click on "Actions" next to that sale. Then "Reprint Label". Although you were saying in another comment you are not getting a receipt with the label which doesn't seem right. If you try on another browser does it print a receipt?(There should be a preview before you print).

Great!
That is what I did last night as it was the only thing that I could think of myself. Thank you for confirming my guess.
Do we get refunded for the shipping cost as well? In the area to specify the product/invoice amount, they said excluding shipping charges.
Thank you @a_c_green for your help.

In the case of a lost shipment, yes, since technically they failed to do what you paid for, which was to deliver the package.
I specified $100 for my claim (which was the most I could collect for my Priority Mail package without additional insurance), even though the original sale price was about $115. They added on the amount that I had paid for postage when they sent the check. So I actually ate about $15 for the loss, but it was still way better than losing the entire amount that I had to refund to the buyer.
