I have to send a label to a buyer to return an item. It has been more than 30 days but less than 60. I've never had to do this before and I'm kind of lost as to how to do it. I've looked through both eBay and PayPal but it's not intuitive, at least for me. I've already refunded the buyer. Can someone explain how...as though I'm 5 y-o. (Sorry to sound like a dodo.)

Buy your label here, it's OK that the sender and recipient are your address, just ensure that the originating zip code is your buyer to calculate postage correctly.
Then email the PDF of the label as an attachment. It's OK to ask for the buyer's email through eBay Messages; that's allowed after the item has been paid.

Another option is to ask the seller to go to 'my purchases' and from the menu select "Return this item". If you accept returns (you have checked that option in your settings), the buyer should be able to have ebay issue a return label and also to print it out on their end with the correct sender's address.

Unfortuitously, from the OP:

in the future use the ebay returns system. you will get your seller fees back and have documentation with the buyer. you will be automatically prompted to send a label to buyer after return is approved by you. its easier, the labels are cheaper than going to the PO and you get your fees back. good luck!
ALso not sure why you already refunded the buyer, but it is a good practice to not refund the buyer until you receive the item back and check it over.
