Need help.. how can I change the ‘ship from’ address after an item has already been bought??

I sold a cash register and just realized my ship from address is from the last state I lived in. How can I change that for my shipping label and will it change the shipping?

If you use an eBay label for shipping when you get to the page to purchase the label...........  over there on the right there is a spot to hit "edit" which will allow you to correct the "ship from" for that label.

I can answer your 2nd question first- it could very well change the shipping, depending on 'how much further' you now are from the buyer. 

Regarding 'can you change'- you CANNOT if buying a label on ebay; that had to be done when you created the listing, but...

You can just buy a label direct at USPS or sign up at Pirate Ship or many other places, using the 'correct' address'- you will get a label. You then need to mark your item 'shipped' and ADD THE tracking number to the order (for seller protection (somewhat anyway))

First go to this page under your account settings and update all relevant address fields.

Next, update the location on your listings. Item location on your listings is not linked to your registered ship from address and has to be updated separately.

Go to your active listings page in seller hub, select all listings, click the edit button in the menu above your listings. From there you can use the bulk editor to change the Item Location zip code on your listings to ensure accurate rates when calculated shipping is used & better estimated delivery dates.

Finally, the next time you create a shipping label, click edit next to your ship from address on the right side of the page to make sure the updated address is showing before you purchase the label. Double-check even if the visible return address is correct as there is a different field for ship from.

If you don't see this option then you may be on the simplified label page. On the top right you'll see a link to switch to advanced shipping options.

When I do that it only gives me the option to change to my last 2 addresses on file. I have already changed it to my new one on my account page but it won’t show up when I edit from the shipping label.

It’s not going further actually closer. The buyer already paid for shipping, so if I buy a label with the correct addresses won’t it be much pricer without the eBay discount?

if it’s closer could I just send it anyway?

When you click on that "edit" the page that opens should allow for address changes .

After a change you may need to close the shipping label, and reopen again to apply your choices as a permanent change.

I have 7-8 addresses that I can choose to ship from.
