NOT GETTING EBAY USPS SHIPPING DISCOUNT

Since yesterday afternoon I am not getting the eBay shipping discount when purchasing USPS shipping labels. I tried in a different browser and still the same, no discount. I called eBay yesterday and was told it would be "reported". Is anyone else having a problem?

You're purchasing the labels through eBay?

Can you give an example of package size, weight, class of mail and the non-discounted rate you're being charged?

Ah, the 3% discount on Priority for TRS. I thought you might have been referring to some kind of glitch with the general online rate.

This page should tell you why you aren't TRS any longer, and you should have also received eBay messages alerting you.

I am still top rated and compared shipping costs for my account vs non-top rated and there was no difference this week.  I don’t know why this is happening, because we’ve definitely been top rated for a long while.

When a return is accepted and a refund is promptly  issued, it should not count against the seller. When the usps is extremely slow or fails to deliver, it should not count against the seller, either. Uploading tracking proves I did my part. I should not be held accountable for the usps or  the whims of buyers.

USPS announced peak season rates beginning October 6, 2024. However, most of these charges will not apply when you purchase your labels on eBay.

Shipments that will have the published peak season surcharges applied on eBay Labels are: 

• Packages shipping to Zone 9 (US Territories and some military addresses) 
• Packages weighing 21 lbs or more (all zones) 
• Packages with a dimensional (DIM) weight of 21 lbs or more (all zones)
• Packages shipping to or from Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico

None of my packages fall under those categories but I still don't have the USPS Ground Advantage discount showing up. I can't even get the discount for USPS Priority Mail right now. I bet it's something on eBay's end and I'm not sure if there's anything I can do. What's a good way to reach out to an actual person at eBay and not their automated "help" desk?

Contact Us, the Chat Box, then tell what your problem is, then state "agent please", Click have agent call you back. Have the agent give you a ticket number so the technician can look at your situation. It's probably a widespread problem which Ebay might be aware of already cause multiple people are reporting this issue already in here.
