My very first order stuck in GLENDALE HEIGHTS, IL 60139

Hello.
I ordered a jacket on June 13 from MA, United States. Delivery is through eBay International Shipping to Republic of Moldova. Shipping cost is $109. The tracking was updated daily until the 18th and since then it hasn't been updated. The last update was: "Jun 18 Delivered, Left with Individual GLENDALE HEIGHTS, IL 60139." The estimated delivery time is from August 5 to 27, and it would be undesirable not to receive any tracking information until then.

Here in the eBay community, I found several similar threads, but none of them have follow-ups on the outcomes.

What could this mean? Is my order still at this point or is it lost?

Glendale Heights is the hub for EIS (eBay international shipping program)

So 3 days ago it arrived at the shipping hub.

It will be processed and shipped with items also going to the same area (Moldova) 

Sometimes this is quick sometimes it is not.

You say your "estimated" delivery is August 27 at the latest so you need to wait.

Yes the tracking will be updated with the new tracking number for international delivery. Remember it will go to customs then to you.

What does this mean? Will I need to go to customs to pay taxes and pick up the item, or will it be delivered to me by the local postal service?

I have been through that, my first two purchases arrived no problem then boom my third purchase stuck in Glendale it got a tracking number but got stuck at dispatched delivery window passed I bought again UNBELIEVABLe SAME THING HAPPENED TWICE. YES O GOT REFUNDED TWICE but you get less money due to exchange rate. they never arrived and ebay has no clue where they are. Glendale Is a terrible place they are stealing the packages

My item stayed there for 10 days, then its tracking status was updated, and it was sent to Europe, reaching me in just a few days. It spent more time in Glendale than it did traveling to me. The item cost $30 (though shipping to Europe cost $110); there was nothing worth stealing.

Just yesterday I ordered a similar item that will likely follow the same route, but it now costs $110. I hope it arrives just as safely.
